Gentex HGU-56/P Flight Helmets

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is prepared in accordance (IAW) with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02, effective 16 March 2023. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code (NAICS) is 315990. The small business size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that one (1) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with one (1) one-year base period and four (4) one-year options periods will be awarded on a brand name basis as a result of this RFQ. IAW FAR 8.405-6(b)(3)(i)(A), the Limited-Sources Justification is attached to this RFQ. Only the brand name items requested in this solicitation will be considered for award. A list of the characteristics can be found in the attached document titled "70Z03823QE0000019- Blanket Purchase Agreement". All items must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Gentex Corporation (CAGE Code: 97427). Traceability means a clear, complete, documented, and auditable paper trail which traces each step from an OEM or distributor to its current location. All quotations received from GSA Schedule contractors will be considered but the offered items must be included on their schedule and not "open market" as defined in FAR 8.402(f). Offerors that have this capability are invited to submit quotations IAW the requirements stipulated in this RFQ. Offerors should complete the attached Schedule of Supplies and submit through GSA eBuy.
