Genome Sequencing

Background
The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is issuing this solicitation for Genome Sequencing services as part of its mission to advance agricultural research. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns, with the goal of obtaining high-quality genome sequencing to support various research initiatives.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541380, and the small business size standard is $19 million.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Genome Sequencing services as detailed in Attachment 1 Performance Work Statement and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Key tasks include:
1. Performing genome sequencing on specified samples.
2. Delivering sequencing data in a timely manner as per the schedule outlined in the performance work statement.
3. Ensuring compliance with quality standards set forth in the QASP.
4. Invoicing shall be done in arrears based on completed work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from July 13, 2026, to July 12, 2027.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
- Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
- Technical capability to perform as outlined in Attachment 1 Performance Work Statement and QASP.
- Past performance references demonstrating ability to meet contract requirements including quality of work and timeliness.
- Specific written confirmation of technical capability for requirements stated in Section 7.1, 7.2, and 7.4 of Attachment 1.
