Generator PM services for NAIHS facilities   2

Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS), specifically the Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), located in Window Rock, Arizona, is seeking to procure on-site generator preventive maintenance services. The NAIHS is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to members of the Navajo Nation and San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe. The goal of this contract is to ensure that emergency backup generators at various medical facilities are maintained efficiently and safely, ensuring operability when needed.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, minor parts, transportation, per diem, lodging, and personnel to conduct on-site generator preventive maintenance (PM), load banking, and automatic transfer switches (ATS) operational inspection services for fourteen NAIHS medical facilities. The specific tasks include:

1. Conducting annual generator PM and inspection services.
2. Performing load banking tests as required (not needed for certain facilities).
3. Inspecting and maintaining ATS systems to ensure proper functionality.
4. Fuel polishing for diesel generators at specified locations.
5. Compliance with NFPA 110 standards and other relevant regulations.
6. Oil sampling on all engines and fuel sampling for diesel engines to ensure quality control.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from August 12, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with options for additional years extending through December 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations across the Navajo Nation including but not limited to: Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (Chinle, AZ), Many Farms Dental Clinic (Many Farms, AZ), Pinon Health Center (Pinon, AZ), Tsaile Health Center (Tsaile, AZ), Crownpoint Comprehensive Health Care Facility (Crownpoint, NM), Pueblo Pintado Health Center (Pueblo Pintado, NM), Thoreau Health Center (Thoreau, NM), Gallup Indian Medical Center (Gallup, NM), Tohatchi Health Center (Tohatchi, NM), Kayenta Health Center (Kayenta, AZ), Inscription House Health Center (Shonto, AZ), Northern Navajo Medical Center (Shiprock, NM), Dzilth-Na-O-Dilthe Health Center (Bloomfield, NM), and Four Corners Regional Health Center (Teec Nos Pos, AZ).
