The Government proposes to acquire on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract a minimum quantity of 100 each up to 760 each maximum of a GENERATOR APU,AIRC; NSN: 1680-01-480-6542; Part Number: 70550-85901-104 applicable to the A-BE BLACKHAWK weapon system.

Production Lead Time is 100 each at 360 Days after Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA., 17070-5002.

This item is limited in competition to SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, CAGE 78286, and HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC, CAGE 64547. Suitable for competitive acquisition for the first time. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.

All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
