Description

The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires a range of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and technical services to maintain Systems contained within multiple MSC classes of ships.It is anticipated that the Government will negotiate on a limited source basis with the OEM utilizing the authority for other than full and open competition located at FAR 6.302-1.

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and technical services to maintain systems on multiple MSC classes of ships. The contract aims to ensure operational readiness and support for machinery plant systems and components on MSC vessels.

Work Details
The contractor will provide management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to maintain and support machinery plant systems on MSC vessels. This includes periodic equipment grooms, engineering design, technical representative visits, remote technical support via email and phone, hardware and software configuration management services, parts supply, onsite/offsite training, assistance in technical refresh efforts to address obsolescence issues, and other related tasks.

Specific tasks include program management/contract management, remote technical support with a Trouble Log, engineering services support for system/component design changes including feasibility studies and failure analyses. Planned Maintenance Industrial Assist within N7’s SAMM Program is also included.

Additionally, ICS cybersecurity services support with annual reviews of network security status according to NIST SP-800-82r2 standards will be provided. Shipboard technical support for equipment casualty response and corrective maintenance including shipboard visits within specified timeframes is also part of the scope.

Period of Performance
The contract covers a five-year ordering period.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations including Guam, USA; Norfolk, VA; Earle, NJ; San Diego, CA; Saipan; Diego Garcia; 5th Fleet; 6th Fleet; 7th Fleet; Singapore or Japan.
