Background
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing Western Currency Facility (WCF) is located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX, 76131. Construction began on the WCF in 1987 and was completed in 1989. The facility has expanded several times and is almost triple in size to the original footprint. The purpose of the contract is to refurbish all air handling units at the WCF, covering phase 4 of a 5 phase effort.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all expertise, labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace existing air handlers throughout the facility. This includes replacing twenty-one (21) AHUs located in various areas within the facility. The contractor must use the provided Statement of Work along with associated specifications, drawings, and attachments as the basis for all work and deliverables. They are also responsible for providing fully functioning systems prior to closeout and coordinating with CO/COR to resolve any issues impacting scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and other projects.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas.
