The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, hereby announces the solicitation for Gavins Point Winter Cleaning Project 2025-2029. The solicitation will close on 09 September 2024. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.

Project Description:

The Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to provide cleaning and janitorial services within designated facilities and grounds in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) managed areas. The work to be performed under this contract will occur within recreation areas and public use facilities at the Gavins Point Project in Cedar County, Nebraska and Yankton County, South Dakota. This area is located at and downstream of Gavins Point Dam, approximately five miles west and one mile south of Yankton, South Dakota.

The Period of Performance for this effort is a 12-month base year + four (4) 12 month-option years.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, is issuing a solicitation for the Gavins Point Winter Cleaning Project 2025-2029. 1) Cleaning vault toilets in their entirety once each scheduled day;
2) Sweeping and cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings using approved cleaning agents;
3) Restocking toilet paper and supplies;
4) Picking up litter and trash from designated areas daily;
5) Emptying trash cans and cleaning them as needed;
6) Removing snow from pathways around vault toilets;
7) Ensuring compliance with safety standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The Contractor must maintain satisfactory cleaning standards to accommodate over 1.6 million annual visitors to the area.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance lasting 12 months from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, with four additional option years available for renewal.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Gavins Point Project located in Crofton, Nebraska.
