The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties MUST submit a brand name quote no later than 3:00 pm on 10 SEP 2024.

If you are quoting, you MUST be an authorized distributor. Only quotes accompanied by a copy of an authorized reseller certificate will be evaluated. Award will be made on an all or none basis. All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to benjamin.r.flores3.civ@us.navy.mil.

Background
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is developing a Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) test for INMARSAT satellite communications systems. This project is funded via Test Resource Management (TRMC) Science and Technology. A BGAN Network Emulator (BNE), manufactured by Gatehouse Satcom, is a required component of the CPS test tool.

The goal of this contract is to obtain technical support and training from Gatehouse Satcom to assist the NAWCAD test team in developing the CPS tool within budget and schedule for future INMARSAT testing.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a one-year Support and Maintenance Agreement for the BNE, which includes:
1. Technical support services up to 20 hours per month, including installation assistance, troubleshooting, responding to technical questions, configuration to terminals, and bug fixing. Additional hours may incur charges on a Time & Material basis.
2. Free updates and performance improvements to the BNE software every 6 to 8 months through the Gatehouse Satcom Customer Portal.
3. Training on the BNE for the NAWCAD test team that will be three days in duration, tailored for participants with a basic understanding of BGAN, including hands-on workshops using BNE slides and User Manual.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a one-year period starting from the award date.

Place of Performance
Training will take place at NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD.
