Background
The American Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda, is seeking to procure Garbage Collection Services for its residences and the Embassy itself. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective waste management in compliance with local environmental regulations while providing reliable service to the Embassy and its staff.

The contract will be established as a firm fixed price purchase order with an initial duration of one year, including options for four additional one-year periods at the discretion of the U.S. Government.

Work Details
The contractor will provide standard garbage collection services which include:
1) Removing trash from containers and loading it into the collection vehicle;
2) Cleaning around garbage containers after each removal;
3) Disposing of collected garbage in accordance with Rwandan environmental requirements;
4) Collecting branches, shrubbery, and similar foliage from residential properties.

The contractor is responsible for managing all aspects of service delivery, including planning, administration, quality control, and compliance with contract standards. Services will be performed weekly for residential areas and three times a week for the Embassy. Temporary Additional Services may also be requested on an as-needed basis for special events.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations in Kigali, Rwanda, specifically targeting approximately 69 residences in areas such as Kiyovu, Kacyiru, Nyarutarama, Kagugu, Kimihurura, and the Ambassador Residence.
