Garage Cleaning Services

Background
The contract is issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and aims to provide garage cleaning services at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The mission of the DHA is to ensure that military health services are delivered effectively and efficiently. The goal of this contract is to maintain cleanliness and safety in parking structures, thereby supporting the overall operational readiness of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform cleaning of parking garage B1040. Services must adhere to best commercial practices and include sweeping and cleaning all accessible pavements within a four-level parking structure, driveways, stairwells, elevators, and adjacent walkways. All cleaning must comply with NFPA 61, 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), and CDC standards.

Specific tasks include:
- Machine blowing and shoveling debris from corners and edges of curbs and parking areas.
- Maintaining non-carpeted floors free of grit, soil, dust, stains, spills, debris, litter, etc., using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Cleaning stairways, elevators, and handicap lifts to hospital standards.
- Vacuuming and cleaning interior/exterior floor mats.
- Collecting and removing trash while ensuring trash containers are clean and returned to their original locations.
- Cleaning all interior glass/mirrors without leaving traces of film or dirt.

Additionally, contractors must conduct criminal background checks for employees working on the contract as per specified procedures.

The services will be performed at Joint Base Andrews located in Maryland.
