GAO STAA Cloud Services

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) is seeking to establish a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the acquisition of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services bundle. The scope of this acquisition includes all training, professional services, and products available through AWS and the AWS Marketplace. The total estimated contract value for the base and four option years is redacted. The GAO has determined that there is an urgent and compelling need for these cloud services, and that AWS is the only viable option to maintain uninterrupted infrastructure availability.

The BPA will be open to all cloud service providers (CSP) accredited at the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) moderate level, but all vendors awarded under the BPA must be authorized government resellers of AWS. The Vendor will provide cloud services bundle credits towards units of CSP products or services, separately for AWS and other CSPs. The Vendor will also provide project management support, including coordination, organization, and communication, to ensure that the products and services being provided meet contractual obligations.

The BPA has a period of performance of one year with four option years. The place of performance will be determined by individual task orders issued under the BPA. The GAO has conducted market research activities, including reviewing cloud service provider websites, discussing with vendors and resellers, reviewing FedRAMP accreditation website, and consulting with end users and relevant teams within GAO.
