Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District has a requirement for hopper dredging of the Galveston Entrance Channel and adjacent HSC Bolivar to Redfish Reach in Galveston County, Texas. The purpose of this notice is to gather information from industry for preliminary planning purposes. The contract may include beneficial use beach placement at the West end of Galveston Beach and potential options for dredging of the Galveston Harbor, Galveston Extended Entrance Channel, and Texas City Ship Channel. The period of performance for the entire work is not later than 180 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 120 calendar days for potential options.

Work Details
The scope of this contract includes hopper dredging of the specified channels and potential beach placement at Galveston Beach. The contractor should be experienced with hopper dredging operations with beach pump-out, capable of meeting a production rate of 30,000 cy per day, and familiar with traffic conditions along the Galveston and Houston Ship Channels. The contractor should also provide examples of being a prime contractor conducting hopper dredging with pump-out operations.

Period of Performance
