Gallup Indian Medical Center Mobile CT Scanner Trailer Rental

The Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), located in Gallup, New Mexico 87301 is looking for sources for mobile computed tomography services. The requirement is for a temporary, short-term (approximately 3 to 6 months, but could be longer) rental of approximately 50-foot trailer with CT scanning equipment installed. The CT scanner must be a GE 640-slice LightSpeed unit as the particular make/model is currently in use by GIMC staff. Any other make/model is not in the best interest of the Government, as the learning curve to use another make/model would not be efficient. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 621512 with a small business size standard of $16.5M. The product service code or PSC is W066 Lease or Rental of Equipment Instruments and Laboratory Equipment.

This sources-sought notice is for market research purpose only so that the Government may develop its acquisition strategy in terms of product availability and commerciality, set aside strategy (total small business or any socio-economic set aside), recommendation for a more applicable NAICS and/or PSC codes, etc. A direct award under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program (FAR 19.8) will also be considered, as one of the factors that will be considered is immediate availability and delivery of the mobile unit (preferably less than a month after issuance of award).

In accordance with 52.204-7(b)(1) prospective contractors must have and maintain (in accordance with 52.204-13(c) an active profile in the System for Award Management at beta.SAM.gov in order to submit a quote.
