Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking Social Worker Staffing services for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) under solicitation 36C26222R0124. The contract is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Ten (10) Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Ten (10) unlicensed Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSW) to support VAGLAHS's Community Engagement and Reintegration Service (CERS) department and the Housing and Urban Development and Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program. The contract social workers will provide social work services in various areas within VAGLAHS HUD-VASH program, spending 95% of their time providing social work activities and 5% in meetings and required medical center training. They will focus on providing direct and indirect services to eligible Veterans, including determining eligibility for VASH services, improving organizational and communication skills, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach, participating in consultation with designated HUD-VASH leads, and more.

The contract period of performance for this IDIQ is Five (5) years from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The workstations for the contract social workers shall be located at a VAGLAHS facility or Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), or at the project-based housing site. Worksites may be at locations throughout the Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties and may require travel to VAGLAHS and other community-based settings throughout Los Angeles County and outlying areas.
