Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 22, is issuing a solicitation for residential service beds for women. The goal of this contract is to provide transitional housing services for female veterans at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), addressing their mental health, substance abuse, and other psychosocial needs. The aim is to assist these veterans in obtaining permanent housing within a specified timeframe.

Work Details
The contractor will provide transitional housing services that include:
1. Housing female veterans requiring residential services and treatment at VAGLAHS.
2. Ensuring that veterans are ADL (Activities of Daily Living) independent.
3. Accepting referrals from VA, community partners, or directly from veterans throughout the day and evening, Monday through Friday.
4. Providing a private office space for the HCHV COR Liaison to meet with veterans.
5. Not providing detoxification or hospital-level treatment.
6. Conducting inspections of facilities by a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and safety.
7. Completing incident reports for any negative incidents involving veterans within 24 hours.
8. Participating in inspections and addressing any deficiencies found during these evaluations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years, starting from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073.
