Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the VHA RPO West - NCO 17, is issuing this amendment to the solicitation for HCHV Medical Respite Care services. The goal of this contract is to provide essential healthcare resources to veterans in need, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Work Details
The amendment serves to clarify and provide additional information regarding the responsibilities associated with the Clinical Supervisor position within the contract. The Clinical Supervisor must be licensed in Texas and can hold one of several qualifications including Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Master of Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Their primary role includes providing oversight and consultation for Case Managers during urgent clinical issues or crisis interventions. While the Clinical Supervisor is not required to be on-site, they must be available on-call 24/7. If a Case Manager is a Licensed Master Social Worker, a Clinical Supervisor is not required.
