Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires Residential Services (Emergency Housing) for homeless Veterans in safe community-based residences for the Hillsborough and Polk Counties as part of the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV department. The contractor will provide all requested Homeless Veterans Residential Services, as identified within this Performance Work Statement (PWS), Dated 3/26/2024 for the Healthcare for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), 13000 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612.

Work Details
The purpose of this project is to obtain a qualified contractor to provide short-term Contracted Residential Services (Emergency Housing) for homeless Veterans in safe community-based residences who need an immediate housing placement as they seek permanent housing and/or additional care and services. Emphasis is placed on referral and placement in permanent housing utilizing VA or community resources. The contract term shall cover a Base Period from 4/22/2024 to 04/21/2025.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be for a Base Year plus four (4) Option Years based on funding availability.

Place of Performance
Performance will occur at the Contractor’s location or valid leased location unless otherwise required by work requirements listed in this Performance Work Statement.
