FY26 USACE Houston Ship Channel Texas Expansion Channel Improvements Project, East 2 Clinton DMPA Improvements, Harris County, TX   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this solicitation for the construction of an upland dredged material confined placement area (DMPA) as part of the Houston Ship Channel Expansion Project.

The goal of this contract is to facilitate maintenance dredging material management from future dredging projects, specifically Project 11 - Segment 4, located near the Washburn Tunnel Crossing in Houston, Texas.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the following tasks:

- Clearing, grubbing, and stripping;
- Grading;
- Construction of outfall channels, drainage channels, perimeter ditching, and other drainage features;
- Perimeter embankment construction;
- Drop outlet structure construction;
- Implementation of erosion control measures;
- Site security measures;
- Geotechnical construction testing;
- Conducting topographic surveys before, during, and after construction activities;
- Placement of topsoil and hydromulch seeding;
- Demobilization and site cleanup;
- Related ancillary work.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed within the Houston Ship Channel near the Washburn Tunnel Crossing in Houston, Texas.
