The goal of this contract is to perform comprehensive concrete spalling repairs and apply a new protective coating system to exterior walkways, stems, and balconies for Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) facilities. Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the following tasks:

1. Surface Preparation & Demolition: Remove all unsound, loose, or cracked concrete from cantilevered walkways and decks.

2. Concrete Repair: Treat exposed reinforcing steel with an anti-corrosion coating prior to patching; repair spalls to a sound surface at locations including underneath walkways, cantilever stems, railing mount points, and balcony edges.

3. Protective Coating System: Apply a complete protective coating system to all surfaces of walkways, cantilever stems, and stairwell balconies; incorporate a non-slip additive into the coating on walking surfaces.

4. Submittals: Submit manufacturer product data and specifications for all proposed materials for Government approval prior to procurement or use.

The construction projects will be performed at multiple locations within MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
