FY26 Little River Inlet Maintenance Dredging - The work consists of placing 65,000 cubic yards (in-place) of unclassified material from the Little River Inlet to re-establish the Upcoast Sand Dike and Berm at the jetty key-in. Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FY26 Little River Inlet Maintenance Dredging project. The mission of the Corps is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation’s security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

The goal of this contract is to maintain navigable waterways by re-establishing the Upcoast Sand Dike and Berm at the jetty key-in, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Work Details
