Background
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL is issuing a sole source award to TESTFORCE USA for the provision of diagnostic test equipment units.

This contract aims to support the 42 Operation Support Squadron in maintaining, testing, and repairing Air Force CM300/350 radio systems, which are essential for safe air traffic control and flight-line communications.

The acquisition of this equipment is necessary to replace outdated tools that are becoming obsolete, thereby enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of maintenance processes.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
The FY26 sole-source effort for two Diagnostic Test Equipment Units to support maintenance, testing, and repair of Air Force CM300/350 radio systems appears to have a confirmed incumbent, as Testforce USA was awarded closely related VIAVI CX-300/CX300 COMXPERT communication service monitoring and analyzer/test system procurements tailored to the same CM300/CM350 radios. Prior awards include FA282325P0042 (Testforce USA, $114,270) for VIAVI CX-300 COMXPERT monitors with a Testforce USAF-CM300/350 kit, as well as additional CX300 test system procurements for testing CM300/350 radios and replacing legacy RAW diagnostic equipment. These prior efforts align with the current requirement’s focus on CM300/350 diagnostic testing capability and replacement of legacy test tools, suggesting continuity in equipment type and intended use.
