Background
This contract is issued by the government for maintenance dredging and beach nourishment at the Grand Haven Outer Harbor in Ottawa County, MI. Work Details
The scope of work includes: mobilizing a dredge to the Grand Haven Outer Harbor, dredging within specified limits (-25+00 to -14+00) targeting 40,000 cubic yards (CY) of material, and placing dredged material for beach nourishment in a designated State Park area south of the harbor.

Additional tasks involve replacement of damaged landscape features, temporary construction activities, stream crossings, management of fish and wildlife resources, and wetland area considerations. The contractor must implement stormwater management practices including ground cover stabilization and erosion control measures.

Protection of historical and archaeological resources is required, along with compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste management, including hazardous waste procedures and Clean Air Act compliance. The contractor must also submit plans for haul routes and dust control measures.
