Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for qualified vendors who can provide a brand name or equal weld booth IAW the Statement of Need. Please see attached statement of need for additional details. As part of its market research, 22 CONS/PKA is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. Responses shall be submitted via email to SrA Warnage Fonseka at warnage.fonseka@us.af.mil and 1st Lt Victoria Longava at victoria.longava.1@us.af.mil; no later than 10:00 AM CDT on 31 July 2025.

Background
The 22nd Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified vendors to provide a brand name or equal weld booth in accordance with the Statement of Need. This initiative is part of their market research to assess the availability of contractors capable of fulfilling the requirement for the 22d MXG at McConnell AFB, Kansas. The goal is to acquire a second weld booth setup that mirrors the existing setup to minimize the need for constant re-familiarization.

Work Details
The contract requires the following items for the weld booth setup:
- EB34 Filter Wall Module
- EB34-CLT94
- Curtain Package-DQ0386232-1
- T4500 Industrial Air Cleaner
- 2535-MTBK Mounts

Salient characteristics include:
- Booth footprint no more than L 52” x W 25” x H 115”
- Uses non-proprietary filters
- Includes fold away curtains
- Air Cleaner must be 4500 CFM or greater
- Noise level must be less than 81 decibels
- Lighting must be included.

Additionally, the contractor must provide a minimum warranty of 1 year, covering any defects not caused by government damage or misuse, at no cost to the government.

Period of Performance
Delivery of each line item must be completed no later than 90 calendar days after contract award.
