The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 S. LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL is seeking information from industry to assist in finalizing the acquisition strategy finalizing the acquisition strategy for the acquisition, maintenance, and support of cold-water dispensers at designated at locations for the 42nd Security Forces Squadron (42 SFS) on Maxwell Air Force Base and Gunter Annex.

This is a Sources Sought for commercial items. The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in determining what types of products and capabilities are available in the market for this type of requirement outlined in the attached DRAFT STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS (SOR) (Attachment 2).

Capable vendors should review the attached documents and respond to the posted Sources Sought Guidelines (Attachment 1) and provide both positive interest and capability statements prior to the deadline of Thursday, 13 February 2025 at 1000 EST (0900 CST).

Background
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL is seeking industry input to finalize the acquisition strategy for cold-water dispensers for the 42nd Security Forces Squadron (42 SFS). The goal is to acquire, maintain, and support these dispensers at designated locations on Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, ensuring personnel have access to clean, chilled drinking water where traditional sources are unavailable.

Work Details
The contract involves a Blanket Purchase Agreement for the following items:
1. Cold Water Cooler Dispenser:
- Cooling Capacity: Dispenses cold water at 42°F to 50°F.
- Filtration System: Integrated system removing common contaminants (carbon, chlorine, lead, sediments).
- Electrical System: Operates on standard voltage of 120v, 60Hz.
- Size and Dimensions: Free standing model within 12”x11”x30” (L x W x H) and weighs within 20lbs.
- Water Capacity/Source: Accepts replaceable top-loaded 5-gallon water bottles.
- Dispensing Mechanism: Easy-to-operate mechanism for dispensing water.
- Water Source: Replaceable 5-gallon bottles that are chlorine, salt, chemical, nitrate, and calorie free.

Delivery Requirements:
- Install dispensers in accessible locations with adequate water flow and safety considerations.
- Provide weekly or bi-weekly service to restock a minimum of two full 5-gallon bottles.

Service Locations:
- Maxwell AFB: Bldg. 1141/Kelly Street Installation Access Control Point and Kelly Street Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area.
- Gunter Annex: Bldg. 802/Congressman Dickinson Installation Access Control Point and Bldg. 833/Training Facility.
