Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Japan Engineer District (JED), is issuing a contract for the replacement of Kubasaki High School located at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan.

The mission of this project is to provide a new educational facility that meets the needs of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) and enhances the learning environment for students. The goal is to utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software as a brand name requirement to ensure consistency and efficiency in project management.

Work Details
The contract involves the replacement of Kubasaki High School, which includes construction tasks such as site preparation, structural work, electrical installations, plumbing, and other related trades necessary for completing the school facility.

A significant aspect of this project is the requirement to use Primavera P6 scheduling software for project management. This software must meet all specifications outlined in Technical Specifications Section 01 32 01.00 10, Project Schedule. Key requirements include:
- The scheduling software must be capable of producing and updating schedules as per specifications.
- Contractors are required to utilize Primavera P6 or an alternative compliant scheduling software.
- If an alternative software is chosen, contractors must provide two licenses and two computers along with training for two government employees.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 1095 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.
