The Navajo Area Indian Health Services, Gallup Service Unit Tohatchi Health Center, New Mexico, USA, is requesting for offerors to provide Fire Alarm and Monitoring Services.

This procurment is conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Where as the Government reserves the right to issue a firm-fixed price single award from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.

Background
The Navajo Area Indian Health Services, specifically the Gallup Service Unit and Tohatchi Health Center in New Mexico, is seeking contractors to provide Fire Alarm and Monitoring Services. This initiative aims to ensure the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems within the health center, adhering to relevant safety codes and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing Fire Alarm System Monitoring and Inspection services at Tohatchi Health Center. Key tasks include:

1. Providing 24/7 monitoring of the fire alarm system.
2. Maintaining a UL-listed central station monitoring service for all fire alarm transmitters.
3. Delivering complete monthly reports to the THC Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor.
4. Alerting staff and local fire departments in case of fire alarm notifications.
5. Conducting annual fire drills in coordination with Tohatchi Facilities.
6. Testing all devices and control functions to ensure operational integrity, following NFPA standards.
7. Performing preventative maintenance, including cleaning and recalibrating system components, as well as minor repairs during scheduled visits.
8. Conducting smoke detector sensitivity testing in compliance with NFPA guidelines and providing necessary documentation for authority verification.
9. Updating system software to maintain compliance with current standards.
10. Offering emergency services with a response time of within 30 minutes for telephone responses and on-site technician availability within 8 hours for emergencies.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2029, with specific tasks outlined for each year including base year services and option years for continued monitoring and inspection.
