FY25 Fire Suppression Service Contract @ Scott AFB, IL   2

Background
The 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS) at Scott Air Force Base, IL, is seeking to procure services for the inspection and maintenance of wet chemical fire extinguishing systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and safety of fire suppression systems in both commercial and non-commercial cooking facilities, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary for servicing 28 wet chemical fire extinguishing systems in 13 commercial cooking facilities and 17 Guardian III Residential systems in 17 non-commercial cooking facilities. Services include: semi-annual and annual maintenance; hydrostatic testing of cylinders; replacement of fusible links; and provision of essential parts such as nozzles, CO charging cylinders, micro switches, batteries, etc.

The contractor must coordinate service schedules with the Fire Department at least 5 duty days prior to work. All work must comply with National Fire Protection Association Standard (NFPA) 17A, 2013 Edition. Maintenance reports and system discrepancies must be provided to Fire Prevention personnel following service completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period not exceeding three years.
