FY25 Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Fire Control Development, Production and Operations Support

Background
The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing support in research and application of technologies to support TRIDENT II (D-5) Fire Control System, Fire Control requirements for operations on the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) as part of the U.S. COLUMBIA CLASS Submarine program and the U.K. Dreadnought Class Submarine Program, specialized Field Engineering services for installation and testing of strategic hardware onboard US OHIO AND UK Vanguard CLASS submarines, technical and engineering services to develop and install alternations for the Attack Weapon Control System (AWCS), engineering, maintenance, and repair services in support of both US and UK submarine programs, engineering services to develop the training program and documentation for the operation of the Fire Control System (FCS) onboard COLUMBIA and Dreadnought, and field engineering services to maintain the virtual missile training simulator at Strategic Weapons Facility (SWF), Bangor, WA. The contract types will include Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price and Cost Only Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS).

Work Details
The contract requires familiarity and recent experience conducting repairs of the U.S. Navy SSBN, Strategic Weapons System (SWS) and Attack Weapon Control System (AWCS), knowledge and experience working with the Strategic Systems Programs Operational Directives (ODs), detailed understanding of interfaces between the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) and Strategic Weapon System (SWS), specialized field engineering services for production, testing, and installation of strategic hardware on-board U.S. OHIO and COLUMBIA as well as UK Vanguard and Dreadnought Class submarines, expertise in development, production, installation, and repair of both the SWS and AWCS, expertise in delivering engineering services required to develop the training program and documentation for the operation of the Fire Control Sub-System on board the U.S. OHIO and COLUMBIA Class submarines as well as UK Vanguard and Dreadnought Class submarines, expertise in maintaining the virtual missile training simulator at Strategic Weapons Facility (SWF) Atlantic and Pacific.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) is estimated to be 36 months.

Place of Performance
The effort will be competed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; Kings Bay, Georgia; Bangor, Washington; and various locations within the UK.
