ATTACHED IS THE ABSTRACT OF BIDS

Background
The Baltimore District of the Corps of Engineers is issuing a solicitation for maintenance dredging in the Cape Henry Channel, Chesapeake Bay, Virginia.
This project aims to maintain navigable waterways and support maritime operations in the region.

Work Details
The contract involves various construction tasks related to maintenance dredging, including:
1. Mobilization and Demobilization for dredging operations.
2. Dredging activities at specified sections of the Cape Henry Channel, including:
- Section AS 1 from Sta 2+300 to 3+200, requiring 285,000 cubic yards (C.Y.) of dredging to a depth of 50 feet plus 1 foot overdepth.
- Section AS 2 from Sta 3+200 to 9+800, requiring 453,000 C.Y. of dredging.
- Section AS 3 from Sta 9+800 to 18+000, requiring 638,000 C.Y. of dredging.
- Section AS 4 from Sta 18+000 to 26+700, requiring 222,000 C.Y. of dredging.
3. Turtle Trawling for environmental protection during dredging operations.
