Background
The FY25 Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Maintenance Dredging Contract is issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, specifically targeting the maintenance of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW).
The mission of this contract is to ensure the navigability and safety of the waterway, which serves as a critical transportation route. The goal is to perform maintenance dredging at select sites to remove accumulated sediment and maintain the channel's depth and width.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide construction services that include furnishing personnel, transportation, mobilization and demobilization, equipment, and materials necessary for maintenance dredging.
This work will primarily utilize a hydraulic cutterhead dredge, although alternative methods may also be considered.
The project involves removing up to 78,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from Daufuskie Reach and up to 130,000 cubic yards from Isle of Hope Reach.
Specific dredging locations include:
- Daufuskie Reach: Stations 22+400 to 31+000 (Ramshorn Creek) and stations 41+000 to 45+000 (Walls Cut), with sediment pumped up to seven miles to placement site 14B.
- Isle of Hope Reach: Stations 24+000 to 35+200 (Wilmington River), with sediment also pumped up to seven miles to placement site DMCA 14B.

Period of Performance
The expected duration for performance is approximately 165 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the Savannah District's portion of the AIWW in South Carolina (Beaufort County) and Georgia (Chatham County).
