FY25 42FSS Septic Tank Pumping at Mid Bay Shores Recreation Center, Niceville, FL

Background
The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL, is seeking sources to provide septic tank pumping services at the Mid-Bay Shores Recreation Facility 801 in Niceville, Florida. The goal of this contract is to prevent sewage and waste backup at the facility. This request is part of a sources sought synopsis to gather information that may inform the acquisition strategy.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform septic tank pumping and cleaning services, which include:

- Removing access covers or other applicable items to completely remove all liquids and solids from the tanks;
- Pumping eight (8) 1,050 gallon septic tanks at the RV Lots of the Mid-Bay Recreation Facility;
- Performing a maximum of 30 pumpings per year cumulatively;
- Physically removing all liquids and solid debris from the septic tanks;
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

Additionally, the contractor must provide a written guarantee accepting total liability for cleanup expenses for any accidents or spills during service. Compliance with OSHA regulations and Corps of Engineers Manual is required. The contractor will also need to notify the facility manager 48 hours prior to service and ensure that temporary utility connections are removed after service.

Period of Performance
10 May 2025 – 09 May 2030 (Base Year, Plus 4 1-Year Options). Services are to be performed during standard workdays, Monday through Friday, between 08:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT), excluding federal holidays.
