FY24 Myrtle Beach Emergency Renourishment - The work consists of placing approximately 600,000 cubic yards of dredged material on North Myrtle Beach (Reach 1), 850,000 cubic yards on Myrtle Beach (Reach 2), and 600,000 cubic yards on Garden City/Surfside Beach (Reach 3). Suitable borrow material will be dredged from three (3) offshore borrow areas. The work includes before and after surveys of the beach areas and monitoring structures adjacent to Myrtle Beach during construction. The work includes dune fencing and signage work. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. NOTE: In accordance with Executive Order 14063, a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be required for the subject requirement. In accordance with FAR clause 52.222.34, the Offeror who submitted the lowest priced bid will be required to submit a PLA. Background
The solicitation is for the FY24 Myrtle Beach Emergency Renourishment project, which involves placing dredged material on North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Garden City/Surfside Beach. Work Details
The work consists of placing approximately 600,000 cubic yards of dredged material on North Myrtle Beach (Reach 1), 850,000 cubic yards on Myrtle Beach (Reach 2), and 600,000 cubic yards on Garden City/Surfside Beach (Reach 3). Suitable borrow material will be dredged from three offshore borrow areas. The tasks include mobilization and demobilization, beach fill, surveys, environmental species monitoring, vibration control monitoring, bulldozer rental, trawling and relocation for ESA-species, beach tilling, standby time, sand fence installation, dune protection signs installation, pipeline corridor surveying, and beach surveying.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in North Myrtle Beach (Reach 1), Myrtle Beach (Reach 2), and Garden City/Surfside Beach (Reach 3) in Horry and Georgetown Counties, South Carolina.
