FY24 Ft Snelling Natl Shrine Award -- Y1PZ
Award Notice: FY24 Shrine Project at Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Awarded to Byrd Enterprises Unlimited (BEU), LLC.
Byrd Enterprises Unlimited (BEU), LLC BEU is the incumbent contractor for the FY23 Shrine project and the Headstone Setting contract at the cemetery. FSNC has very limited space for staging, therefore, with multiple contractors onsite it will hinder progress and complicate communication with the facility. IAW VAAR 819.7008 BEU is a verified SDVOSB vendor in VetCert. The CO determined that it would be in the best interest of the Government to sole source to BEU as they continue completing the current project. BEU has years of experience with Raise and Realignments, turf renovation and irrigation renovation, as they have been awarded numerous projects in NCA with similar scopes of work. Their Past Performance has been rated exceptional in this line of work. Due to the overlapping nature, communication and coordination that occurs between the projects the government would be best served with a sole source award.
