FY23 PAC DC Office Renovation

NAVFAC PAC DC requested a SAP purchase for office renovation work within building 258 located in the Makalapa Compound, JBPHH Hawaii. This project includes removal of existing workspaces on the 1st floor of building 258 and provides new and additional workstations, collaboration areas, and furniture. The Contractor is to provide services and labor to accomplish the work identified in this PWS. The Contractor will be tasked to inventory the existing furniture within the affected spaces; dismantle and relocate existing furniture/dismantled parts; order and install new product; and discard any unused parts and trash. Services will require survey of the existing furniture and delivered to the primary designated storage area located in Building 1723H, 540 Kuntz Ave., Hickam Air Force Base, JBPHH, Hawaii. Building 200 will be available as a back-up storage area. This contract action was not awarded competitively. The J&A was approved for Contract Furnishers of Hawaii, Inc. DBA Office Pavilion to award via GSA Schedule GS-28F-0003P. The existing furniture configurations/materials were supplied/installed by Office Pavilion who can match the structure, finish, and colors to increase the functionality of the workspaces and avoid purchasing new workspaces at a higher cost. Office Pavilion is the only Pacific Region representative authorized to install and reconfigure Herman Miller products and maintain all warranties. Any alterations by a company other than Office Pavilion would potentially void any existing warranties. The small business profesisonal concurrd on the DD2579 with the decision to solicit single source from Office Pavilion.
