Background
The United States Air Force is issuing a contract for the construction of an Aircraft Maintenance Support Facility at the Royal Australian Air Force Base in Tindal, Australia.

The mission of this project is to enhance aircraft maintenance capabilities and support operations at the base. The goal is to provide a facility that includes both high bay open storage areas and administrative offices for maintainers, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Work Details
The construction tasks include:
- Building a slab-on-grade concrete foundation.
- Erecting a pre-engineered steel frame structure with girt, insulation, and metal panels.
- Installing a metal roof over the high-bay storage area which will feature natural ventilation without conditioning.
- Providing electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, panel boards, plumbing with energy-efficient fixtures, communication systems, and mechanical ventilation in administrative areas.
- Connecting all necessary utilities to the base infrastructure.
- Constructing supporting facilities such as a concrete pad for maneuvering aircraft ground equipment, an asphalt access drive for emergency vehicles, and a stormwater drainage system.
