Description

SSP will be procuring follow-on engineering services support for U.S. Navy SSP-owned Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems operated in support of SSP Trident II Flight Tests, with L3 - Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC). The work will include planning, maintaining, operating, sustaining, and providing logistics support and life cycle management for the FTI systems to ensure the highest availability and maximize the data collected during flight tests; as well as FTI data acquisition, and post-mission processing and analysis of data collected by the FTI systems during flight test mission support. Additional scope includes providing Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) training program support; operation of the FTI systems in support of flight tests other than Trident II missions; and implementation of FTI system refreshes and Strategic Systems Programs Alterations (SPALTs). This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by IEC under contract N00030-18-C-0001, which SSP awarded using other than full and open competition.
