FY2018-FY2019 Procurement of MQ-1C Extended Range Gray Eagle Production Hardware

The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a requirement for FY 2018 - FY 2019 procurement of Gray Eagle MQ-1C Extended Range (ER) production hardware. The FY 2018 - FY 2019 procurement is anticipated to be a new sole source FFP contract. The new production hardware contract will include an anticipated FY 2018 base quantity of 21 each MQ-1C ER aircraft, 21 each multi-band SADTs, 2 each Universal Ground Data Terminals (UGDTs) and 8 each multi-band Universal SATCOM Ground Data Terminals (USGDTs) with an option in FY 2019 to procure an additional 9 (maximum) each MQ-1C ER aircraft, 9 (maximum) each SADTs and 9 (maximum) each multi-band SADTs. It is anticipated that the supplemental effort will be awarded in FY 2019. The estimated delivery schedule is thirty four months after date of award. Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) and 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) entitled only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification and Approval applies to other than full and open competition basis. This requirement is sole source to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
