Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed Price contract, N00019-22-C-0023, to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Inc. (GD-OTS) (Cage 05606) of Williston, Vermont 05495, for the procurement of obsolescence management, engineering support, and 76 M61A2 20MM gun systems in support of the U.S. Navy F/A-18 E/F production aircraft. This contract was procured non-competitively pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). GD-OTS is the sole vendor qualified to build M61A2 20MM gun systems and is the only vendor with the requisite expertise, tooling, and existing production line to manufacture the gun systems that conform to the F/A-18 aircraft operational requirements.
