FY19-23 MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Canister Production

Offerors are hereby notified that the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FY19-23 MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) Canister Production, including ancillary hardware, spares, and associated support equipment in support of US Navy, NATO SEASPARROW Missile Consortium, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements N00024-19-R-5380 has been posted. Additionally, the Offeror will be required to upgrade, renew, refurbish and/or repair canisters as described in the RFP. Information related to this requirement was previously posted under sources sought notice: MK 41 VLS Industry Day with the solicitation number N00024-16-R-5372 and presolicitation notice: MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Canister Production with the solicitation number N00024-18-R-5380. Please refer to this solicitation notice (N00024-19-R-5380) for the most current documents and information.
IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for contract award, all offerors must be a United States (US) company or an independent US subsidiary. However, subject to the applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of the solicitation, foreign contractors may act as subcontractors to U.S. prime contractors. The export of defense articles, defense services, and related technical data is subject to the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and requires the issuance of an export license by the U.S. Department of State.
