FY17-19 MK 110 Gun Mount Production Contract for USN & USCG

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a FY17-19 production contract for the procurement of MK 110 Mod 0 Gun Weapon Systems (GWSs) including associated ammunition hoists, spares and logistics products on a sole source basis to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. (BAE), 4800 East River Road, Minneapolis, MN 55421 without providing for full and open competition. This requirement was originally synopsized on November 10, 2015 under Solicitation N00024-16-R-5375-0001, however this revised synopsis is being published as the Government intends to procure more MK 110 Mod 0 GWSs than originally planned.

BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and expertise of the MK 110 Mod 0 GWS to satisfy USG production requirements in a timely and economical manner. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
