This solicitation w ill be issued as UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990.

This solicitation w ill be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Aw ard Task Order Contract (SATOC) w ith a ceiling of $40M.

The w ork consists of furnishing one fully crew ed and equipped hydraulic pipeline cutterhead dredge for the removal and satisfactory disposal of shoal material w ithin any combination of the follow ing Dredging Regions: Berw ick Bay Harbor, Berw ick Lock Forebay, Tidew ater Point, Morgan City Docks East, 20 Grand Point, GIWW vicinity of Mile 99, Wax Lake Outlet, GIWW vicinity of Bayou Shaffer, Port Allen Lock Forebay, Three Rivers, Baton Rouge Harbor (Devil's Swamp), Old River Lock Forebay and Old River Lock Tailbay. Work may be required in other areas of the New Orleans District.

The initial task order ordering work may be issued immediately upon contract awards.

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this solicitation for a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) with a ceiling of $40 million. The contract is aimed at supporting the Atchafalaya Basin, Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW), and various miscellaneous projects through the provision of dredging services. Work Details

Additional work may be required in other areas of the New Orleans District. Safety protocols must be adhered to including daily inspections and submission of an Accident Prevention Plan which includes Activity Hazard Analysis and safety documentation as specified in the contract clauses.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in various locations within the Atchafalaya Basin and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway regions.
