Description

Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) Maywood Superfund Site (FMSS), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC).
Background
The Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) Maywood Superfund Site (FMSS) in Maywood, New Jersey is a highly developed area consisting of property owned by the Federal Government, the Stepan Company, and other government, commercial, and private properties. The site was listed on the Superfund National Priorities List in 1983 due to radioactive contamination resulting from rare earth and thorium processing operations conducted by the Maywood Chemical Works. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has direct responsibility for the cleanup of FUSRAP waste associated with thorium processing activities at the site.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform a variety of tasks including project management, environmental activities, remedial action activities such as excavation and transportation of contaminated soil, environmental monitoring, repair and maintenance of monitoring wells, treatability/pilot studies, implementation of groundwater remedies, support activities for both soils and groundwater remedies, general conditions activities, project support activities, waste handling and management activities.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) for this Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) is 60 months.
