Background
The US Embassy Buenos Aires is seeking services for the restoration of furniture pieces that are part of the Heritage Collection located at the US Ambassador’s Residence, Bosch Palace, Av. Del Libertador 3502, Buenos Aires, Argentina. This collection is cataloged as Cultural Significant Property and has been recognized as a National Monument of Argentina. The goal of this contract is to ensure the preservation and restoration of these significant items in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide specialized labor and materials for the restoration of furniture pieces including:
- AH0071L DESK 105 – GRAY ROOM:
- Survey condition and restore missing inlay in leg using the same type of wood, tone, and finish as existing.
- Clean leather desktop and restore.
- Repair interior of drawers.
- Revise and fix all hardware and brass decorations.

All work must adhere to methods accepted by the global preservation community, ensuring minimal damage during reupholstery and using appropriate materials for repairs.

Period of Performance
The performance period will commence upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed after contract award and will last approximately 90 working days.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the US Ambassador’s Residence, Bosch Palace, Av. Del Libertador 3502, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
