Furniture IDIQ for Library of Congress

Background
This is a solicitation for furniture purchase/installation and related services for the Library of Congress. The Library of Congress Space Utilization, Planning and Design (SUPD) provides space planning, interior design, procurement, and construction management services for all Library facilities. The Library's Washington DC Capitol Hill Campus includes several buildings, and SUPD develops and implements Library policy governing the use of space, furniture, finishes, and office interior solutions standards.

Work Details
The Library intends to make a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period and five option periods. The IDIQ contract will have a base period of five years and five single-year options. The contract minimum is $1,000.00, and the maximum is $25,000,000.00. The contractor is required to provide furniture products, office interior solutions, product specification services, product purchases, installation and reconfiguration services, project management services, ongoing product updates and training for the Library Standards and Typicals.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance will be ten years, consisting of a five-year base period and five single-year options.

Place of Performance
The work will take place in various locations including the James Madison Memorial Building, John Adams Building, Thomas Jefferson Building in Washington DC Capitol Hill Campus; Taylor Street Annex; St Cecelia’s Special Facility; Ft. Meade Book Storage Modules; Cabin Branch Facility; 501 First Street SE; National Audio-Visual Conservation Center in Culpepper VA.
