Full Phone Service Eglin AFB

Background
The 38th Contracting Squadron (38 CONS) is issuing this solicitation for Full Telephone Service at Eglin AFB, FL. The goal of the contract is to provide essential Telecommunication Services (TS), including both local and long-distance services, in a performance-based manner consistent with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 63-138.

This requirement aims to modernize telecommunications capabilities by moving away from legacy systems and ensuring compliance with various federal standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to designated circuit demarcation points. Services include:
1. Installation of transmission equipment and cables for local exchange access.
2. Connection to Government-provided power connection points and termination frames.
3. Coordination with the Point of Contact (POC) prior to installation.
4. Notification of scheduled outages at least 30 days in advance, including detailed explanations for outages affecting telecommunication services.
5. Restoration of service outages according to established priorities, including immediate attention for catastrophic outages affecting 95% or more of equipped lines.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 22 Jan 2025 - 30 Sept 2025; Option 1: 01 Oct 2025 - 30 Sept 2026; Option 2: 01 Oct 2026 - 30 Sept 2027; Option 3: 01 Oct 2027 - 30 Sept 2028; Option 4: 01 Oct 2028 - 30 Sept 2029.
