Full Maintenance - Farmers Branch and Sherman, Texas   3

This synopsis serves as an announcement of the forthcoming acquisition.
General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Greater Southwest Region 7 intends to solicit a proposal for Full Maintenance Services, which includes Operations & Maintenance Services and Custodial and Related Services, and ground maintenance at the following locations:

The Centre Phase 5, 4050 Alpha Road, Farmers Branch, TX
Paul Brown Federal Courthouse (Historical Building), 101 E. Pecan St., Sherman, TX
Offerors will be expected to provide operation and maintenance, custodial and related services, management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies for the facilities. The offerors shall also be responsible for the efficient, economical, and satisfactory operation, the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and the repair of equipment. Additionally, the offerors shall furnish all personnel labor, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, management, training/certifications. The facilities covered by this solicitation encompasses approximately 300,000 aggregate rentable square feet in 2 federal buildings.

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.502, this potential acquisition is 100% Total Small Business (SB) set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services and the small business size standard is $38.5 million. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
The solicitation number is 47PH0219R0012. The projected period of performance is from December 1, 2019 thru November 30, 2020 with four (4) one-year option periods (December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2024). FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will be included in the solicitation to add up to six (6) additional months, if necessary.

The current contract is due to expire November 30, 2019. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in a timely manner, the Government may require the current Contractor to continue performance for additional periods up to six (6) more months under FAR clause 52.217-8.

The solicitation will be publicized on or about June 27, 2019. The pre-proposal conference/site visit and the deadline for questions will be noted in the solicitation. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will only be publicized through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.fbo.gov.
