Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Operational Logistics Command, Regional Contracting Northeast Branch (LOG-95) is seeking to procure full food services for the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Northern Great Lakes located in Sault Sainte Marie, MI.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all food, personnel, supervision, materials, and other necessary items or services to perform full food service as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This operation is essential to meet the nutritional needs of U.S. Coast Guard personnel and others who utilize the facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will manage a main dining facility that provides full meal service and meets the nutritional needs of personnel. Additionally, services will be required at two other designated eating areas: the Wardroom and the Chief’s Mess.

The contractor must be prepared to provide meals away from the dining facility with 24-hour notice or within one hour in emergency situations such as operational missions or natural disasters. The food service operation may also need to support other military or law enforcement units on short notice.

Extended service hours may be required during special situations including holidays and emergencies, necessitating operation up to 24 hours per day. The contractor must offer various modes of service including traditional plated meals, to-go meals, and cafeteria-style service.
