Description

The 11th Contracting Squadron is seeking interested vendors capable of providing a Fuel Truck for rental in accordance with the attached Salient Characteristics and Performance Work Statement (PWS). No quotes are required at this time. Please see the attached Salient Characteristics and PWS for additional details and respond to this RFI stating if your company is capable of fulfilling this requirement. Lastly, interested parties must be capable of delivering the vehicle to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington D.C.

** Notice to Vendor(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this RFI and subsequent RFQ until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this requirement, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this requirement, the Government has no obligation to reimburse vendor(s) for any costs. **

Background
The 11th Contracting Squadron is seeking vendors capable of providing a fuel truck for rental to support the mission of HMX-1 at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington D.C.

The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous operational capability without interruptions due to asset shortages for refueling. It is important to note that funds are not currently available for this effort, and no award will be made until funding is secured.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide one 4500–5000-gallon fuel truck for a 12-month rental.

Responsibilities include transport/delivery and pickup of the fuel truck to the 11 LRS/Vehicle Management Flight at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, D.C. The contractor must ensure delivery by the contract start date and pickup at the end of the contract period. Minor maintenance will be handled by the 11 LRS/Vehicle Management, while major maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility, with prior notification required before any maintenance occurs. If the vehicle is downed for maintenance due to malfunction (not fault of 11 LRS), a suitable replacement must be provided within two weeks. Services are not expected on recognized holidays, and operations must occur on Tuesdays between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM unless otherwise directed by government closures or emergencies.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for a base year from November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2025, with one optional year available from November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026.
