Front Country Ranger District HVAC Replacements   3

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the Front Country Ranger District HVAC Replacements project. The project involves replacing three units at two sites, namely the Lytle Creek Fire Station Office building and the Mill Creek Hot Shots Office. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, securing permits, and meeting state and local county requirements.

Work Details
The scope of work includes removing existing HVAC units, disposing or recycling them, and installing new units. The contractor is also responsible for field verification of all information before submitting a bid. Additionally, the contractor must ensure building safety and security, comply with fire prevention measures, protect resources, and not interfere with business operations at the designated locations. The work hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the HVAC replacements is from the date of award through October 31, 2023.

Place of Performance
The construction work will be performed at two locations: Lytle Creek Fire Station Office at 1209 Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek, CA 92358, San Bernardino County; and Mill Creek Hotshots Office at 34701 Mill Creek Road, Mentone, CA 92359, San Bernardino County.
