Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of fresh produce as part of their food service operations. The goal is to provide high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables to meet the dietary needs of inmates while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This contract aims to secure a reliable source of fresh produce for the fourth quarter of FY 2026.

Work Details
The contract includes the delivery of various fresh fruits and vegetables with specific requirements as follows:
1. Fresh Fruit, Apples, Any Variety, U.S. Extra Fancy, U.S. Fancy, or U.S. No. 1 - 7,000 cases (168 per case).
2. Fresh Fruit, Bananas - 1,000 cases (120 per case).
3. Fresh Vegetable, Broccoli - 4,390 lbs.
4. Fresh Vegetable, Cabbage - 12,400 lbs.
5. Fresh Vegetable, Carrots - 4,850 lbs.
6. Fresh Vegetable, Cilantro - 697 lbs.
7. Fresh Vegetable, Cucumbers - 26 cases.
8. Fresh Vegetable, Green Onions - 1,173 lbs.
9. Fresh Vegetable, Lettuce (Iceberg) - 1,119 cases.
10. Fresh Vegetable, Onions (Bulbs) - 21,148 lbs.
11. Fresh Vegetable, Peppers (Sweet) - 12,420 lbs.
12. Fresh Vegetable, Potatoes (Sweet) - 25,000 lbs.
13. Fresh Vegetable, Potatoes (Chef or Large Size) - 109,068 lbs.
14. Fresh Vegetable, Tomatoes - 718 cases (~25 lbs per case).
15. Fresh Vegetable, Lettuce (Salad Mix) - 380 cases.
16. Fresh Vegetable, Leaf Lettuce (Green Leaf) - 40 cases.
17. Eggs (Shell) - 2,600 cases (30 dozen per case).
18. Dairy Products: Cottage Cheese - 270 containers (5 lb each); Sour Cream - 138 containers (5 lb each).

Period of Performance
Weekly deliveries approximately from July 6, 2026 through September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the Federal Bureau of Prisons facility located at FCC Beaumont in Beaumont, TX.

This solicitation is set aside for Small Businesses only (100% Small Business Set Aside). Bidders must comply with all specified product quality standards and provide documentation as required for each item bid.
